Following this, she served as a Marketing Coordinator at Phillips and Temro Industries in the Winnipeg area from 1990 to 1993 for three years. Neuendorff also worked as a District Manager for the Central Region at Canadian Tire Corporation for one year, from 1993 to 1994.

Ria Neuendorff studied at the University of Manitoba, where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Marketing and Human Resources from 1976 to 1980. Prior to her university education, she completed her high school education at Silver Heights Collegiate, obtaining her High School Diploma from 1972 to 1976.
