Laura Lewis serves as the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) and Vice President of the CREW Network Foundation since 2017. In this role, she directs the strategic direction for over 75 brands globally, focusing on enhancing their positioning and visibility. She manages budgets related to marketing, public relations, industry research, and the CREW Network Foundation. Lewis leads initiatives that aim to advance women in commercial real estate and build a diverse talent pipeline, collaborating with executive boards, university leaders, influencers, and media.
Previous Experience in Marketing and Communications
Before her current position, Laura Lewis held several roles in marketing and communications. She was the Director of Marketing, Brand & Digital Strategy at Women Leaders in College Sports from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, she worked at CREW Network as the Director of Marketing and Communications for one year in 2015. Her experience also includes serving as the State Director of Communications & Marketing at March of Dimes from 2007 to 2009, and as an Account Manager at Global Prairie Marketing from 2009 to 2011.
Educational Background
Laura Lewis studied at Eastern Michigan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. This educational foundation has supported her career in communications and marketing across various organizations.
Early Career and Internships
Laura Lewis began her career with roles that provided her with foundational experience in communications. She worked as a Sports Information Assistant at the University of Houston from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, she completed a marketing internship at Ketchum Public Relations in 2001. Her early experience also includes participation in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in 2000.
