Sangyub Lee has been with ON Semiconductor since 2014, serving as the Management of the Automotive Field Application Engineer team in Seoul, South Korea. He has played a pivotal role in various projects, including leading the PAS (Parking Assistant System) ASIC project in collaboration with MOBIS, which focused on ultrasonic technology to meet the requirements of Hyundai-Kia Motor Company. Sangyub Lee holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from SKK GSB Sungkyunkwan University, where he studied Business Administration and Management from 2019 to 2021. He also earned an MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business during the same period. Before joining ON Semiconductor, Sangyub Lee worked at several notable companies in the electronics and automotive sectors. He was a Senior Engineer of HW design at Samsung Electronics from 1997 to 2003. Following that, he spent five years at Renesas as a TMC Engineer from 2003 to 2008. He also served as the Manager of the Solution Engineering Center at ON Semiconductor from 2008 to 2013. His diverse experience in engineering and management has equipped him with the skills necessary to lead teams and projects effectively.
Achievements in Automotive Projects
Sangyub Lee has successfully initiated and led multiple automotive projects, including the launch of three ASICs for the PAS system, generating an annual business of $10 million. He has also supported the development of critical components such as the Front Camera Module (FCM) and Domain Control Unit (DCU) projects in collaboration with MANDO, enhancing functionalities related to autonomous driving. Additionally, he structured the Automotive FAE team into specialized segments, including electrification, ADAS & Camera, and general automotive solutions.

Sangyub Lee has managed the IATF16949 certification process for the Korea Sales Office, which includes FAE Labs.
