Before founding Opensee, Stephane Rio held several key positions in the financial industry. He worked at Kepler Cheuvreux as the Global Head of Fixed Income and Derivatives from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, he served as the Global Head of Interest Rate Swaps at Commerzbank AG from 1994 to 2003. Additionally, he was an Executive Board Member at Depfa Bank from 2008 to 2011. His extensive experience encompasses roles as a trader, risk officer, and capital markets practitioner, contributing to his expertise in financial technology.
Education and Expertise
Stephane Rio has a strong educational background that underpins his expertise in finance and technology. He studied at Lycée Hoche and later attended École Polytechnique from 1991 to 1994. He furthered his education at ENSAE Paris, achieving a Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies (DEA) in 1996, and studied stochastic models applied to finance at Université Paris Cité.
