Abhinav Das serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of Orangewood Labs, a company that participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2018 batch. Previous Experience
Before founding Orangewood Labs, Abhinav Das worked at several organizations. He was a Consultant at Autoninja for five months in 2015-2016 in New Delhi, India. Prior to that, he served as an R&D Engineer at Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd for six months in 2008-2009 in Gurgaon, India. Additionally, he was a Research Intern at the International Center for Automotive Technology (iCAT) for five months in 2008.
Education and Expertise
Abhinav Das holds a B.Tech in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, where he studied from 2004 to 2008. His educational background also includes attending Kendriya Vidyalaya, Andrews Ganj, where he completed his high school education from 1991 to 2003. His academic training has equipped him with a strong foundation in engineering principles.
Entrepreneurial Journey
Abhinav Das co-founded Evomo (Evolving Mobility!) in 2010, where he served as CEO until 2015. During this five-year tenure, he focused on innovative mobility solutions in various locations, including Ahmedabad, New Delhi, and Bangalore. His entrepreneurial experience has contributed to his current role at Orangewood Labs.
