About Trevor Dryer

I’m a repeat startup founder tackling a problem I am passionate about--climate change. With experience that spans ESG and fintech startups as well as a global technology leader, Intuit - and early career experience as a practicing attorney - I turn complex business challenges into profitable and scalable growth solutions and brand-distinguishing software products. I have experience with high growth companies both as an operator and investor. ► I founded Carbon Title to help the real estate industry understand, manage and share the ongoing carbon impact of their buildings and portfolio. We enable property owners and developers to plan and reach their net zero goals through making greener building choices and purchasing high quality carbon removals. ► Identifying a market gap, I co-founded Mirador, a company that provides small businesses with the digital platform to access reasonably priced loans from banks and credit unions. I served as CEO and Director of Mirador, from 2014 to 2018. After the company was acquired by CUNA Mutual in 2018, I stayed on as CEO, integrating it, scaling it, and growing it to $4B+ in loan volume. ► I started the journey to founding Mirador while serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at Vesta, where I modernized its software solution and payment product for global telecommunications providers and empowered the company to expand beyond telco. ► Before that, I was Head of Product Management, Mobile Payments and Point-of-Sale at Intuit. In that role, I led the strategies, teams, and technology solutions that transformed Intuit's GoPayment mobile payments, skyrocketing revenue 10x. ► Earlier in my career, I was an attorney and litigator for Fortune 100 telecom and tech companies. My work included litigating campaign finance matters in the U.S. Supreme Court and advising venture-funded startups on employment law compliance. ► I serve on multiple Boards; have been selected to speak on fintech before the U.S. House Small Business Committee, Federal Reserve, FDIC, and industry conferences; and am a contributing member to Forbes Finance Council. Strategic, analytical, always curious, and entrepreneurial, I also love mentoring others who strive to excel and building outstanding, cohesive teams.
