I lead a talented team of information security and privacy professionals that help embed best practice security and privacy into Orion Health’s software platforms. Collectively – with the entire Orion Health team – we ensure our healthcare platforms are secure, resilient, and incorporate security and privacy by design. We also collaborate closely with customers, partners and external assurance entities to ensure our processes and systems are designed and operating effectively whilst ensuring compliance with our customers state and country level security and privacy regulations. I have 14 years’ experience designing, implementing and leading information security programmes across Europe, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. I provide strategic advice to executive teams to help them transform and modernise their security functions. I tackle business challenges with a pragmatic, risk-based mindset and excel in distilling complex problems and solutions into visually appealing, audience orientated material – driving understanding, consensus and action. I’ve learnt that focusing on people first is a critical success factor in driving sustained value from a security programme, with supporting process and automation through high speed-to-value technology.
