Calogero Scibetta serves as the Carbon Partnership Lead for EMEA and APAC at Patch, a position he has held since 2023. In this role, he is responsible for leading the commercial development and expansion of the CarbonOS software platform across these regions. His focus includes establishing partnerships and fostering relationships with carbon dioxide removal (CDR) companies, which encompasses project developers, aggregators, and traders.
Previous Experience
Prior to his current role, Scibetta held various positions in sales and business development. He worked at Stripe as UK Enterprise Sales for Insurance and Insurtech from 2021 to 2023. Before that, he was with Everledger, where he served as SVP Sales & GTM for Europe from 2020 to 2021 and as Head of Business Development and EMEA Sales Lead from 2016 to 2020. His earlier experience includes roles at Forrester Research and D.C.A., among others.
Education and Expertise
Calogero Scibetta earned a Bachelor's degree in Literature and Media from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where he studied from 2007 to 2010. He possesses over a decade of experience in enterprise sales, with expertise spanning various sectors, including services, SaaS, payments, insurance, supply chain, crypto, and luxury goods.
Mentorship and Fellowship Roles
Scibetta has contributed to the industry through mentorship and fellowship roles. He served as a Mentor at Techstars from 2017 to 2020 in Paris, providing guidance to startups. Additionally, he was a Project Fellow at the World Economic Forum for five months in 2019 to 2020 in Geneva, where he engaged in projects related to global economic issues.
