Jenn Inzetta is currently the Assistant Director of Social Media Strategy at Penguin Random House. In her role, she oversees the social media team and manages the overall strategy for Random House Children’s Books. Prior to that, she worked at XenoPsi, where her roles included Associate Social Media Director (2017-2018), Senior Content Manager, Copywriter & Social Strategist (2015-2017), and Community Manager (2013-2015). Her career in digital marketing began with a role as a Social Media Accounts Intern at Likeable, followed by a position as a Copy Editor at Alloy Apparel & Accessories.

Education Background

Jenn Inzetta obtained her M.S. in Strategic Communications from Columbia University in the City of New York, where she studied from 2011 to 2012. She also holds a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Wagner College, which she completed from 2007 to 2011. Her educational background has provided her with a solid foundation in both strategic thinking and creative execution.

Building Social Media Strategy at Random House Children’s Books

Jenn Inzetta has played a crucial role in building the social media strategy for Random House Children’s Books from the ground up. She developed unique channel strategies, posting frequencies, best practices, and content plans for @randomhousekids and @getunderlined. Her responsibilities also include performance marketing-focused social media advertising, social media listening and analytics, influencer promotions, and internal thought leadership and education.

Development of Author and Illustrator Guidelines

At Random House Children’s Books, Jenn Inzetta developed comprehensive guidelines and best practices for authors and illustrators to follow on social media platforms. These guidelines are designed to help authors and illustrators effectively promote their work and engage with their audience, ensuring a cohesive and impactful social media presence.
