Throughout these roles, he has gained extensive experience in data center administration, hardware and software upgrades, and system configurations.

Technical Responsibilities

In his current role at Peoplefluent, Michael manages all Dev, QA, and Production mission-critical technology resources. His duties include the installation of racks, servers, switches, and cabling, as well as wire management in data center environments. Additionally, he is responsible for configuring and supporting VMware ESXi Server clusters, which includes high availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and VMotion functionalities.

Datacenter and System Administration

Michael Di Leonardo administers and maintains various systems and technologies critical for datacenter operations. He manages storage configurations for VMware environments on NetApp filers and handles hardware and software upgrades for servers. He also takes on the responsibility for monthly Microsoft Service Provider License Agreement (SPLA) data collection and compliance reporting.

Michael employs Nagios for monitoring operating system-level availability, resource utilization, and URL accessibility. He has successfully achieved a planned goal of maintaining a 99.8% Service Level Agreement (SLA), demonstrating his proficiency in maintaining system reliability and performance.
