Work at PGS
Chloé Lazizi has been employed at PGS since 2020. She started as a Project Geophysicist I from 2020 to 2021, followed by a promotion to Project Geophysicist II, a role she held from 2021 until 2024. In 2024, she advanced to the position of Staff Geophysicist. Throughout her tenure, she has worked in Oslo, Norway, and currently operates in a hybrid work environment. Chloé leads a seismic data processing team, focusing on skill development and ensuring timely project delivery.
Education and Expertise
Chloé Lazizi holds multiple degrees in geosciences. She obtained a Master's Degree in Geophysics and Seismology from Ecole et Observation des Sciences de la Terre (EOST) from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, she studied at UniLaSalle, where she earned a Master's Degree in Geology/Earth Science with a major in Petroleum Geology from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering at Western University in 2015. Her educational background provides a strong foundation for her expertise in geophysics.
Internship Experience
Chloé gained practical experience through internships at TOTAL. She worked as a Geophysics intern in 2014 for four months in the New Ventures department in La Defense, France. She returned to TOTAL in 2016 for a two-month internship in the EP/DSO/GIS/CMG/4D department in Pau, France. These internships contributed to her professional development and understanding of the geophysical field.
Involvement in GeoStreamer X Project
Chloé Lazizi is currently involved in the GeoStreamer X project, which is set to conclude at the end of January 2024. This project highlights her role in seismic data processing and her contributions to advancing geophysical technology at PGS.
