Jim Morris - President of Pixar
Jim Morris has held the title of President at Pixar since he began working there in 2005. Under his supervision, Pixar has released a number of successful films including 'Ratatouille', 'Up', 'Toy Story 3', 'Cars 2', 'Brave', 'Monsters University', 'Inside Out', 'The Good Dinosaur', 'Finding Dory', 'Cars 3', 'Coco', and 'Incredibles 2'.

Throughout his career, Jim Morris has been involved in the production of numerous notable films. He produced Pixar's 'WALL•E', which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. His other production credits include the live-action Disney feature 'John Carter' with director Andrew Stanton.
Jim Morris - Background and Key Positions at Lucasfilm
Before joining Pixar, Jim Morris spent 17 years at Lucasfilm Ltd. in various key positions. He served as President of Lucas Digital Ltd., overseeing Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), Skywalker Sound, and Lucasfilm Animation. As ILM’s General Manager, he managed a staff of over 1,400 artists and technicians, guiding the largest visual effects facility in the industry. Some significant projects he oversaw at ILM include 'Jurassic Park', 'Terminator 2', 'Forrest Gump', and the first two 'Star Wars' prequels.

Jim Morris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Film and a Master of Science degree in Television/Radio from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), Producers Guild of America (PGA), British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), Visual Effects Society (VES), and the International Animated Film Association (ASIFA). Currently, he serves as a member of the Motion Picture Academy’s Finance Committee.

Jim Morris has received numerous industry awards and honors over the course of his career. He was awarded Producer of the Year in Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures by the Producer's Guild of America for 'WALL•E'. Additionally, he has received the AFI Award, the Golden Globe, and the Visual Effects Society Best Animated Feature Award for 'WALL•E'. He is also the recipient of the Producers Guild Digital 50 Award, the Visual Effects Society Board of Directors Award, and the Visual Effects Society Founders Award, and has been named a VES Fellow.
