She also attended Gig Harbor High School from 2008 to 2012. In addition to her degree, she has pursued further studies in Spanish Language and Literature at Universidad de Granada and Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at Bjørknes University College since 2014.

During her time at Pacific Lutheran University, Martha Spieker held several leadership positions.
