Currently, Wong Yihui serves as a Process Validation Engineer II at Plexus Corp. since 2023. In this role, he implements Test Method Validation (TMV) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing procedures for medical devices. He leads Verification and Validation (V&V) activities to confirm product performance and reliability within the medical device sector. Wong collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Previous Experience in Engineering
Wong Yihui has a diverse background in engineering roles. He worked as a Project Engineer at Master Jaya Engineering Sdn Bhd for three months in 2018. Following this, he joined Top Glove as a Researcher from 2020 to 2022, where he focused on research initiatives in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia. Additionally, he gained experience as a Production Trainee at Duopharma Biotech Bhd for six months in 2019 in Bangi, Selangor.
Education and Expertise
Wong Yihui holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, which he completed from 2015 to 2019. He also studied at Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor, where he achieved a Science Stream qualification in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology from 2014 to 2015. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Universiti Sains Malaysia, expected to be completed by 2025. His expertise includes conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize and validate critical process parameters in medical device manufacturing.
