Meschke graduated from the University of Cologne in 1991 with a degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann). He started his professional journey as an audit assistant at KPMG in Düsseldorf from 1991 to 1992 and progressed to an audit manager role from 1992 to 1995.
