He has also held positions outside of Procter & Gamble, including Head of Design at Wieden + Kennedy in Shanghai from 2007 to 2008, Senior Art Director at M&C Saatchi in Singapore from 2002 to 2007, Designer at DIA Brand Consultants from 2000 to 2002, and Graphic Designer at The Bonsey Design Partnership from 2000 to 2001.

Education

Addy Tan studied Visual Communication at Temasek Polytechnic from 1993 to 1996. During his time there, he focused on Photography, Typography, Branding, Advertising, and Editorial. This educational foundation has played a significant role in his professional development and expertise in the design field.

In-House Design Studio Initiative

At Procter & Gamble APAC, Addy Tan piloted one of the first in-house design studios. Starting with freelancers, he evolved the initiative into a full-fledged team capable of producing work comparable to external agencies. This effort has significantly contributed to the company's design capabilities within the region.
