His responsibilities include leading the Pipeline Repair & Replacement Project (PRRP), where he manages internal resources, deliverables, workload, and schedule. He also coordinates and leads the piping, mechanical, and pipeline discipline scope during the FEED/EPCI stage.
Education and Expertise
Heru Suryo studied at Institut Teknologi Bandung, where he earned a Sarjana Teknik degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1994 to 1999. His educational background provides a solid foundation for his expertise in pipeline and piping engineering. He has developed significant knowledge and skills in mechanical, piping, and pipeline disciplines, which he applies in his current role and previous positions.
Previous Work Experience
Before joining PT Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ, Heru Suryo worked at PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructors as a Junior Piping Material Engineer from 2000 to 2002. He later served as a Senior Piping & Mechanical Engineer at Star Energy (Kakap) Limited from 2006 to 2009. These roles contributed to his professional development and experience in the engineering field.
Project Management and Leadership
In his current position, Heru Suryo leads the Pipeline Repair & Replacement Project (PRRP), where he is responsible for managing various aspects of the project, including internal resources, deliverables, workload, and schedule. He plays a crucial role in coordinating and leading the piping, mechanical, and pipeline discipline scope during the FEED/EPCI stage, ensuring effective project execution.
Participation in QHSSE Programs
Heru Suryo actively participates in Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE) programs. His involvement includes HAZOP/HAZID studies, PRR/PSR reviews, risk assessments, procurement support, and contract documentation. This participation underscores his commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards in engineering projects.
