Currently Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers with the Regulatory Compliance and Advisory Team, Elizabeth provides strategic regulatory solutions to companies across the globe on regulatory transactions. She finished in the top 10th percentile of her college class and graduated with honours from the Law School. Before joining PwC, she was at Matrix Solicitors where she was a trusted advisor to international and local corporate entities. She is experienced in policy formulation and implementation for corporate organizations, improved legal function effectiveness, commercial arbitration, risk and anti-money laundering policies and regulatory compliance advisory. Elizabeth has a proven track record of engagement with Government and Public Services (GPS) Sector and is responsible for communications and relationship management with Governmental regulatory offices. For the second year in a row, Elizabeth received a differentiator grading for her role in communication and external relationships management with a Federal Government Parastatal. Most recently, she handled a policy issue with the Lagos State Government which led to a reduction of a fine exposure by over 500%%. With her knowledge of local laws in the Middle East and African market, she is a resource to the African Policy Advisory team, providing insights on the distinct corporate environment in Nigeria and tailoring business objectives to the prevailing regulatory and legal landscape. Elizabeth has received extensive training in communication and policy formulation training and was instrumental in convening a policy workshop for young lawyers in Nigeria. She provides assistance to organizations to identify, properly assess and manage risks to ensure business continuity by working with partner PwC firms globally and has published guidelines for corporates.
