Currently, Laykiv Luong serves as the Group HR Project Lead at QBE Insurance, a position held since 2021. Before joining QBE Insurance, Laykiv Luong held several project management roles. He worked at Aon as a Project Manager from 2014 to 2016 and again from 2017 to 2021. His responsibilities included managing various projects and improving operational capabilities. Prior to Aon, he was a Project Manager at JLT Australia for one year in 2016. His extensive experience in project management spans multiple organizations, contributing to his expertise in leading teams and delivering results.
Career as a Business Analyst
Laykiv Luong began his career as a Business Analyst at Commonwealth Bank of Australia from 2000 to 2002. He later continued in this role at Aon for 12 years, from 2002 to 2014. His work involved analyzing business processes and providing insights to improve operations. Additionally, he served as a Senior Fund Administrator at ING for one year in 1999-2000, further developing his analytical skills.

Laykiv Luong studied at the University of Sydney, where he achieved a Bachelor of Economics with majors in Finance, Economics, and Marketing. His educational background provides a strong foundation for his work in human resources and project management, equipping him with the necessary skills to analyze financial and operational data effectively.
