Thiago Barreto has been employed at Quadient as a Demand Controller since 2018. In this role, he directs demand management operations for the Small and Medium Enterprise and Shipping Divisions. His responsibilities include consolidating forecasts from 20 countries and 90 external customers worldwide. He converts these forecasts into a six-month production plan for factories in Europe and industrial partners in the Far East. Additionally, he orchestrates procurement, planning, and inventory management for over 200 different products produced outside Quadient factories, which are distributed from centers located in France, the USA, and Japan.
Previous Experience in Logistics and Management
Before joining Quadient, Thiago Barreto held several significant positions in logistics and management. He worked as a General Manager at ControlWay Gestão Logística LTDA from 2010 to 2012, where he gained experience in logistics management. Prior to that, he served as the Commercial and Logistics Director at Rodorei Transportes from 2012 to 2017, overseeing logistics operations in Brazil. He also briefly worked as a Logistics Manager at Mindful Chef in 2018.
Education and Expertise
Thiago Barreto has a strong educational background in business and logistics. He studied at Ibmec Business School - RJ, where he earned a degree in Administração de Empresas from 2003 to 2006. He also completed an MBA in Gestão Empresarial at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2008 to 2009.
