About Daniel Westrich
Hello. My name is Daniel, and I've always been a curious problem-solver. I've always loved building models, especially when I could make them functional. I have a model plane (eFlight Apprentice STS) that I still love tinkering with when I have time over the summer. My passion for creation has developed into a drive toward efficiency. Over the summer of 2018, I was fortunate enough to intern at Goldman Sachs within the Technology division. I worked on simplifying a process that had previously required a massive spreadsheet. My team and I created a website from scratch that reduced the time needed to complete this process from tens of hours to only a few, which helped the firm tremendously. As a student at Tufts University, I was able to continually develop my problem-solving skills through my Computer Science major, and minors in Engineering Management, Entrepreneurship, and Economics. In my full-time role in the Consumer division of Goldman Sachs, I've facilitated numerous projects from inception to launch as a technical project manager.
