Before joining Re:Coded, Rana Mobarak held several positions that contributed to her expertise in design and education. She worked as a Graphic Designer and Curator at KMT House for seven months in 2018-2019. Additionally, she served as a Program Officer at Cairotronica for one year and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The American University in Cairo for four months. Her freelance work as a Graphic Designer at the same university spanned two years.

Rana Mobarak earned her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from The American University in Cairo, completing her studies from 2014 to 2018. She also studied Graphic Design at the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona for four months in 2017.
