About Jillian Miranda

A critical thinker with a relentless work ethic, Jillian brings the fast pace of the city to her work with added tenacity and precision. Jillian’s passion lies in translating her education in the social sciences into an actionable strategy for building the best start-ups in digital health focused on democratizing access to care for the most vulnerable and underserved populations. Jillian began her career in people ops and executive recruiting - focused on building the most diverse and inclusive teams both internally within her own teams as well as externally for clients. Her past roles have focused on people ops, strategy & operations, partnerships/business development in a variety of environments from nonprofits to venture capital. Jillian was employee #1 at an executive search & consulting firm where she acted as Chief of Staff focused on operationalizing the business. Most recently, Jillian has founded her own independent consulting firm focused exclusively on advising both founders and investors in femtech/women's health, LGBTQ health, and health equity venture projects. Jillian received her Master’s in Women’s Studies from the City University of New York Graduate Center, with a thesis focused on the intersection of abolition activism, queer theory, and women's health within incarcerated populations. Her Bachelor’s is in Gender and Sexuality Studies & Religious Studies from Marymount Manhattan College.
