Jeffrey Hauf has served as the Director of Claims, Systems, and Data Analytics at REEF since 2021. In this role, he has implemented two Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) to enhance operational efficiency. Hauf leads a team of adjusters responsible for multi-line claims processing and develops standard operating procedures for claims processing. He is also tasked with creating education and learning programs, as well as establishing departmental goals and vision. Hauf collaborates with various stakeholders, including the Risk Management Loss Prevention team, Occupational Safety team, Operations, and Legal, to ensure effective claims management.
Previous Experience
Prior to his current role at REEF, Jeffrey Hauf worked as a Senior Project Manager at REEF for six months in 2020. He has a significant background in the insurance industry, having served as the Manager of General Liability at Kohl's Department Stores from 2015 to 2020. Before that, he held the position of Claims Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance from 2005 to 2009. Hauf also worked as the Workers Compensation Coordinator and Administrator at Kohl's from 2011 to 2015. His early career includes eight years of service in the United States Marine Corps, where he held the position of Squad Leader / Sergeant.
