Justin Van Dyke serves as the Assistant General Counsel - Litigation at REEF since 2020. In this role, he leads the development and building of the litigation department, focusing on addressing and resolving business and legal risks. He collaborates with various departments within the organization to ensure consistency in legal policy and strategy across the company. His responsibilities include overseeing litigation related to safety, risk, and insurance across three continents: the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Previous Legal Experience
Before joining REEF, Justin Van Dyke held several legal positions. He worked as Senior Counsel - Safety & Insurance at Uber from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, he was a Litigation Associate at Fowler Hirtzel McNulty & Spaulding, LLP from 2018 to 2019, and at Curtin & Heefner LLP from 2015 to 2018. He also served as a Litigation Associate at Budd Larner P.C. from 2011 to 2015. His early legal experience includes a role as Law Clerk to the Honorable Charlie A. Little, J.S.C. at New Jersey Courts from 2008 to 2009.
Education and Expertise
Justin Van Dyke has a comprehensive educational background in law and business. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden. Additionally, he holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Merit from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School. He also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from Rollins College. His education equips him with a strong foundation in both legal and business principles.

Justin Van Dyke began his legal career as a Legal Intern at New Jersey Courts in 2006. He then worked as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Charlie A. Little, J.S.C. from 2008 to 2009. Prior to his legal career, he completed his high school education at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South, graduating in 2000. His early experiences provided him with valuable insights into the legal field.
