Carlo Viray Military Service
Carlo Viray served six years as an acquisition officer managing software programs within the Air Force and Space Force. He played a crucial role in the early stages of Kessel Run, transitioning from project manager to product manager. He was responsible for delivering the first major product that was adopted by Air Operations Centers (AOCs) globally. Additionally, Viray contributed significantly to the establishment of the Space Force’s first software factory, Kobayashi Maru, and Section 31.

While at Kobayashi Maru and Section 31, Carlo Viray served as the Director of Product. In this capacity, he oversaw product development and implementation, ensuring that the software solutions met the operational needs and strategic goals of the Space Force. His leadership was instrumental in advancing the capabilities and innovation within these software factories.
Carlo Viray Post-Military Career
After separating from the military, Carlo Viray pursued opportunities that promised a larger impact outside of the military framework. He later rejoined forces with Bryon Kroger at Rise8, a venture focused on enabling innovation through people, culture, and software. This move reflected his continued commitment to leveraging technological advancements and fostering a culture of innovation.
