Brent Johnson has spent nearly 30 years in the seed industry. He began his career as a crop specialist in ag retail, where he developed an in-depth understanding of crop management and sales. He then worked as a territory manager at Cargill in Wisconsin, where he contributed to the pilot and launch of brown mid rib corn silage. In 1997, he joined WL Research as the Midwest regional manager and continued his work with Forage Genetics after it purchased WL Research in 2006. At Forage Genetics, he led the U.S. commercial alfalfa team before leaving in 2018.

Brent Johnson has a proven track record in sales and marketing within the seed industry. In his role as National Sales Director for North America, a position he took in 2019, he led a team that achieved significant revenue increases in core crops, with alfalfa and grain sorghum revenues rising by 41% and 48%, respectively.
