Holly Yang, MD, is the Co-Director of the UCSD and Scripps Health Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program and an Associate Clinical Professor at UC San Diego Health. Additionally, she was the Assistant Director of the International Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program at San Diego Hospice and the Institute for Palliative Medicine from 2007 to 2013.
Educational Background
Dr. Yang completed her Doctor of Medicine at Northwestern University - Feinberg School of Medicine from 1997 to 2001. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Northwestern University. Dr. Yang further pursued her education at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, studying Medicine from 2001 to 2005, and at San Diego Hospice and the Institute For Palliative Medicine from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, she earned a Master of Science from 2011 to 2014.

She has developed and directed hospice and palliative medicine fellowship programs at UCSD and Scripps Health, emphasizing education and clinical excellence.
