Professional Experience

Craig Shaw's career spans over two decades in risk management across various banking sectors. At SEI, he currently holds the position of Chief Risk Officer. Previously, he was the Group Head of Operational Risk (Interim) at Man Group in 2019 for 10 months in London. From 2016 to 2019, he worked at J.P. Morgan as the Global Head of Operational Risk, Private Bank, and from 2013 to 2016, he managed Global Operational Risk for J.P. Morgan's Investment Banking division. Shaw spent four years at Barclays as Head of Front Office Risk for Switzerland and Italy from 2009 to 2013. His tenure at Citi saw him as the Global Head of Operations Risk and Control from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, he worked in operational risk roles at RBS and Calyon from 2004 to 2006 and 2001 to 2004, respectively. He also spent three years at Credit Suisse in the Equities Management Office starting in 1998.

Education and Academic Background

Craig Shaw studied Finance at Ecole Superieure de Commerce, Marseille-Provence, where he achieved a DESEM from 1994 to 1996. He also holds a BA (Hons) in European Management from Middlesex University, completed between 1992 to 1994.
