Ragine Williams currently holds prominent leadership roles in diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is serving as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Society for Human Resource Management Philadelphia Chapter. Additionally, she leads DEI recruiting, reporting, and outreach for SEI in Oaks, Pennsylvania.
Previous Employment at Merck
Ragine Williams had an extensive and varied career at Merck, occupying several pivotal positions. In 2022, she served briefly as Chief of Staff for the Global Diversity & Inclusion Senior Specialist. She also participated in the Diverse Leader Acceleration Program for a period of eight months in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, she was the Chief of Staff in the Global Diversity & Inclusion Center of Excellence, following her role as a Special Assignment Program Manager in Talent Portfolio in 2021. Additionally, she worked as a Specialist in the Global Diversity & Inclusion Center of Excellence from 2019 to 2021.
Previous Roles in Academia and HR
Ragine Williams has also contributed to academia and human resources in various capacities. At Drexel University, she worked as an Adjunct Professor from 2019 to 2021. She gained experience as a Global Talent Management Human Resources Intern at FMC Corporation from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, she worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at La Salle University from 2016 to 2018.

Ragine Williams has pursued diverse educational paths to enhance her expertise. She holds a Project Management Certificate from Cornell University and a Master's of Science in Human Capital Development from La Salle University. She also achieved a Board Leadership & Governance Program certificate through the DiverseForce on Boards at the University of Pennsylvania in 2023. Furthermore, she completed a Bachelor's of Science in Labor and Employment Relations at Penn State University and studied Corporate Education through the Diverse Leadership Acceleration Program at Duke University.
Personal Advocacy and Initiatives
Driven by personal loss, Ragine Williams is a dedicated advocate for maternal health and aims to break the silence surrounding loss families. She became an advocate after the passing of her son, Crew, in November 2023. Her mission includes pushing for innovations in maternal health care and supporting other families who have experienced similar tragedies.
