Randy Sides joined Seitel in July 1996 as the Manager of Onshore Operations for Seitel Data, Ltd. His role evolved over the years as he was promoted to Vice President—Onshore Operations in November 2002, then to Senior Vice President—Operations in January 2005. His significant contributions during these years helped shape the operational framework of the company. From May 2007 to June 2009, he also served as President of Seitel Canada Ltd., where he oversaw the company's Canadian operations.

Before joining Seitel, Randy Sides worked as a geophysical analyst with Western Geophysical, Inc. from 1991 to 1996.
