Before joining SentinelOne, Lakshmi was the Director Of Engineering at Scalyr from 2019 to 2021 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to that, Lakshmi served at Extreme Networks as the Director, Software Engineering from 2017 to 2019, and earlier at Brocade (acquired by Extreme Networks) as a Software Manager from 2016 to 2017. Lakshmi's career also includes roles at StackStorm, Rackspace, and Amazon, contributing to an extensive and varied engineering leadership portfolio.
Educational Background in Electrical Engineering
Lakshmi Kannan holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, completed from 2005 to 2010. During this period, Lakshmi also served as a Research Assistant at the OpNeAR lab, gaining valuable research experience in the field of electrical engineering.
