Additionally, he was the Project Director at the Office of Student Employment at the University of Chicago from 2016 to 2017.

Teaching and Community Engagement

Restrepo has a strong background in education and community service. He worked as a Corps Member with Teach For America from 2017 to 2019 and as a Special Education Teacher at Ascend Public Charter Schools during the same period. He also contributed to tutoring vulnerable youths in the Chicago southside and served as president of the Best Buddies school day program. His commitment to service is reflected in his role as service chair for the Alpha Phi Omega community service fraternity.

Educational Background

Restrepo holds a Master of Science in Learning Sciences from Columbia University, where he studied from 2019 to 2020. He also earned a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education between 2017 and 2019. His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Chicago, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from 2012 to 2017.

At the Urban Institute, Restrepo works as a Research Analyst, focusing on education data and policy. He collaborates on writing proposals, blog posts, and policy proposals at the Center on Education Data and Policy.
