I have a diverse legal practice as a corporate, real estate and finance lawyer, and I co-chair Sheppard Mullin’s nationally recognized Energy Team. Clients with a broad array of needs come to me not only for my legal expertise, but for my judgment. Having worked on the business side in private equity, real estate development and startups, I know what it’s like on my client’s side of the table and I bring a strong financial and business orientation to each engagement. I am proud to serve as outside general counsel to clients that include large financial institutions, closely held family companies and startups. In addition, leading investors, operating companies, sponsors and developers turn to me for many of their most important transactions, ranging from joint ventures and complex commercial agreements, to real estate acquisitions, funds and financings, to some of the largest energy project developments in the US.
