About Shawn Boosveld
I am currently in my fifth year studying at the University of Cincinnati to complete my BS in Mechanical Engineering. I'm extremely interested in learning about systems and how to make them better. As an avid student, I spend a majority of my time studying and doing homework with my friends. As a strategic student Co-op at Siemens Digital Industries Software, I am training in NX workflows with an end goal of creating customer facing demonstrations. I have created multiple PowerPoint-guided video demonstrations describing how NX can be used to optimize and enhance customer workflows. My most recent contributions have been showcasing NX's role in optimizing flow geometry and conformed cooling techniques. I am continuously working to evolve our customer feedback database to enhance NX the way our customers see fit. During my Co-op rotation at Magnum Piering, I adapted CAD files for our daily orders. I worked collaboratively on a team and independently to draft new and update existing products to fulfill customer requests.
