Anna Kuligowska has served as the Regional Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Manager at Sightsavers since 2018. Before her tenure at Sightsavers, Anna worked at Retrak as a Monitoring and Research Officer from 2014 to 2017. She also held the position of Fundraising and Communications Intern at Retrak for three months in 2013. Prior to her roles at Retrak, she gained experience as a Waitress/Supervisor at La Tasca from 2008 to 2015, and as a Receptionist at Forrest Recruitment for seven months in 2008. Her early career included working as an Administrator/Receptionist/Planning Assistant/Production Operative at Jeyes from 2006 to 2008.

Education and Expertise

Anna Kuligowska studied at The University of Manchester, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Hons) in Modern Languages: German and Spanish from 2008 to 2012. She furthered her education at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Arts (MA) in International Development: Poverty, Conflict and Reconstruction from 2012 to 2013. Her academic background provides a solid foundation for her work in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within the international development sector.

In her current role at Sightsavers, Anna is responsible for building the capacity of overseas teams by providing training in monitoring tools and methods, data collection, and analysis.
