Noah Silberschmidt serves as the CEO of Silverstream Technologies, a position he has held since 2010. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its orderbook to include newbuild and retrofit installations across various maritime segments, including LNG, dry bulk, tanker, cruise, ro-ro, and ro-pax. He has played a crucial role in the commercialization of the Silverstream® System, which is recognized for its contributions to reducing the carbon footprint of the shipping industry.
Previous Experience in Banking and Finance
Noah Silberschmidt has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector. He worked at Alm Brand Bank in Copenhagen as a Trading/Sales professional from 1994 to 1996. Following this, he held positions at First National Bank of Chicago/J.P. Morgan as a Structured Products Fixed Income and Equities specialist from 1996 to 1999, and at Natixis as a Director from 1999 to 2003. He also served as a Director at Citi from 2003 to 2007 and as Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2007 to 2010.
Involvement with the International Maritime Organization
Since 2017, Noah Silberschmidt has been a Founding Member of the Global Industry Alliance (GIA) at the International Maritime Organization. This initiative focuses on promoting innovative solutions for low carbon shipping, aligning with his commitment to sustainability in the maritime sector.

Noah Silberschmidt studied at Copenhagen Business School, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance from 1990 to 1993. Zahles Gymnasie, achieving the studentereksamen from 1986 to 1989.
