He worked at Giesecke & Devrient as a System Manager for one year from 2014 to 2015 and previously served as a Delivery Project Manager there from 2012 to 2015. His career began at Advania á Íslandi as a Software Developer from 1999 to 2002. He later worked at IMC Iceland in multiple roles, including Network Engineer from 2002 to 2008 and CTO from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, he gained experience as a Network Engineer at Gagnaveita Reykjavíkur from 2008 to 2010 and as a GIS Engineer at Orkuveita Reykjavíkur in 1998.
