About Rahel Marsie Hazen
I’m an award-winning communications professional, leader and strategist with 9 years of experience. In 2018, I was named by AD2SF and the SF Egotist as a "32 Under 32" winner which recognizes top young professionals in advertising and marketing in San Francisco under 32. In my career, I’ve worn many different hats—project manager, researcher, marketer, video producer, and business development manager—to name a few. That’s why I have a unique ability to juggle multidisciplinary projects while developing strategies and creative content with measurable results. I’ve also successfully worked in a variety of settings—on international and cross-functional teams—and with Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, start ups and government agencies. In my current role, I earned my company a 2018 Platinum MarCom Award and 2019 Gold Hermes Creative Award for our work to rebrand the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). From research to developing the brand architecture framework and creating a new brandmark and 60+ page brand guide, I managed each phase of the project. This resulted in a 70% staff approval rating, news coverage and sparked thousands of comments and digital impressions on the company's social media accounts. When I walk through SF and I see the new brandmark everywhere, I’m proud of its modern look and feel and how it represents movement and connection in our city. As a PR pro, I love meeting other professionals and making connections happen. Feel free to reach out. And, visit my website to learn more about me: www.rahelhazen.com.
