Achievements

Daixuan Zhang played a leading role in the development of degradable nanocapsules for the delayed release of Titanium(IV) Chloride, which are utilized for filter cake removal. This project was a collaboration with Total SE and the Advanced Energy Consortium. Additionally, Zhang has a patent pending for a new class of polymer materials known as Tissue-adaptive Bottlebrush Elastomers, which are designed to transition from plastic-hard to tissue-soft upon insertion into the body.
