His earlier experience includes roles at ATK as Program Manager III and Chief Product Engineer, and at Vought Aircraft as a Consultant - Program Manager. He also worked at Goodrich and Raytheon, where he managed engineering and business development initiatives.

Mark Braun earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Iowa State University, where he studied from 1985 to 1989. He furthered his education at Texas A&M University, obtaining a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (MSIE) with a focus on Engineering Management of Technology and Strategic Operations from 1997 to 1999. His educational background supports his extensive expertise in program management and engineering within the aerospace and defense industries.
