Prior to his current position, Roy Chen held several significant roles in human resources across various companies. He worked at Nobel Biocare as Vice President of Human Resources from 2012 to 2017. Before that, he served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Sybron Dental Specialties from 2007 to 2012. His tenure at Johnson & Johnson included positions such as Vice President of Talent Management - R&D and Director of Organizational Effectiveness, among others. His extensive experience spans over two decades in the field.
Education and Expertise
Roy Chen has a strong educational background in engineering and management. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers School of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Finance from Rutgers University, both completed between 1983 and 1988. He also holds a Master of Science in Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, obtained from 1989 to 1991. Additionally, he completed Executive Education in Human Resources Management at the University of Michigan in 2003.
