Margo is a strategic Human Resources professional with a passion for bringing a company’s values, identity and perspective to life. As a member of the People & Organization (HR) Leadership Team and acting Chief of Staff to Sony Pictures Chief People Officer, she curates communications that engage 7,000+ employees around the world, manages cross-divisional projects on a global scale covering everything from employee experience to digital media to diversity and inclusion, drives the internal and external facing employer brand strategy and executes on key initiatives to cultivate an inclusive culture across the organization and the regions. Successes include: award-winning redesign of Sony Pictures career portal and branded 2020 Benefits Guide, LinkedIn company page growth from 350,000 followers to 1,400,000+ and the launch of Sony Pictures Action, the company’s racial equity and inclusion strategy. Prior to working at Sony Pictures, she completed her MBA with Graduate Certificates in Sustainability and Business as well as Marketing at USC Marshall School of Business in May 2015 and co-founded Conscious Period, an organic feminine care company with a giving model providing products and jobs to women living in homelessness. In parallel, she honed her skills as a marketing & brand strategy consultant in a variety of industries including: entertainment, mobile gaming, wellness and non-profit. Additionally, while in high school, she became a certified yoga teacher and continues to teach yoga as well as lead yoga teacher trainings and Sanskrit workshops.
