Experience at Billtrust
At Billtrust, Tyerman worked as VP of ESG Strategy & Engagement from 2021 to 2024. She led initiatives that included launching seven Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to enhance employee representation and engagement. Additionally, she conducted a materiality assessment and greenhouse gas inventory within her first year, and tripled employee engagement in the 'Billtrust for Good' initiative.

Tyerman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from Occidental College, where she studied from 2000 to 2004. She later pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy at Mills College, completing her studies from 2010 to 2012. Her educational background supports her expertise in corporate responsibility and social impact.

Tyerman has a history of involvement in various volunteer and early career roles. She worked as an International Volunteer with Cross-Cultural Solutions in 2008 and served as a Fellow at the Taproot Foundation, contributing to pro bono initiatives. Additionally, she held positions in donor relations and business development at organizations such as Geffen Playhouse and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP.
