Additionally, Ria acts as a key support lead for Store Management teams across Canada, providing training and troubleshooting assistance on new recruitment software. Her responsibilities also include managing co-op and internship job opportunities at campus events and post-secondary institutions, actively promoting the employment brand.
Previous Experience
Before joining SOTI, Ria Arora worked at TJX Canada/Winners Merchants International L.P. as a Talent Acquisition specialist from 2016 to 2018. She also held the position of Assistant Area Coordinator at the University of Waterloo for seven months in 2012. Additionally, Ria served as a Special Events and Residence Ambassador at the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2012. Her early career included a role as an HR Generalist at Top Grade Molds Ltd. from 2015 to 2016 and an internship in Human Resources at Reep Green Solutions in 2015.
Education and Expertise
Ria Arora holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Resources Management from the University of Waterloo, where she studied from 2011 to 2015. She also completed her high school education at St Francis Xavier Secondary School, obtaining her High School Diploma from 2009 to 2011. Since 2018, Ria has been studying the French Language through Continuing & Professional Studies at Sheridan College, further enhancing her language skills and professional qualifications.
