Vinitha verifies unit tests written by developers to ensure adequate test coverage for features. She actively participates in the entire Defect Life Cycle (DLC) and raises detailed bugs in JIRA. Additionally, she performs OEM device certification and Sanity Tests for the Android mobile application, and leads testing execution for each sprint in an Agile environment.
Previous Experience
Before joining SOTI, Vinitha Fernandes worked at WinMagic as a QA Specialist for 11 months in 2019. In this position, she contributed to quality assurance processes and testing methodologies. Prior to WinMagic, she was employed at Infosys Limited as a Senior Systems (Test and Network) Engineer from 2009 to 2014, where she gained significant experience in testing and network systems.

Vinitha Fernandes holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from Don Bosco Institute of Technology, where she studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to her degree, she completed her Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) at S.I.E.S., studying Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology, and Information Technology from 2003 to 2005. She also attended Fatima High School in Mumbai from 1991 to 2003. Her educational background provides her with a strong foundation in technical and analytical skills relevant to her role in quality assurance.

At SOTI, Vinitha Fernandes is part of the Android Scripting Engine (ASE) team, where she is responsible for developing new JavaScript scripting functionality.
