Additionally, he obtained a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from UNIR - La Universidad en Internet in 2020 and a Master's in Free Software from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2010.
Background
Before founding Spain AI, Jordi Linares worked as a researcher at Instituto Tecnológico Textil AITEX from 1995 to 1999. He has been a lecturer at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) since 2002, where he has developed expertise in semantic computing for augmented reality, utilizing deep learning and human-centered AI. He also serves as a visiting professor at Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania.
Achievements
Jordi Linares leads the VertexLit research group at UPV, which focuses on creating interactive content, including virtual and augmented reality applications, games, and serious games. He is also a member of the VRAIN - Valencian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and participates in the Unit Experimental group, dedicated to experimental projects. His work includes developing interactive applications for various sectors, such as industry, education, and healthcare.
