Prior to his role at Speckle, Matteo Cominetti held various positions in notable firms. He worked at Foster + Partners as a Design Systems Analyst from 2016 to 2017 in London, UK. He then joined Arup as a Senior Automation Developer from 2017 to 2020, also in London. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Five Core in Bologna, Italy, where he worked from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, he served as a Senior Building Analyst at WeWork in Montevideo, Uruguay, from 2015 to 2016, and as a Building Information Specialist at CASE Inc in New York from 2013 to 2015.
Educational Background
Matteo Cominetti has a solid educational foundation in architecture and engineering. He studied at Aalborg University, focusing on Architecture and Design, and participated in an Erasmus program from 2008 to 2009. He earned a Master’s Degree in Building Engineering and Architecture from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, completing his studies from 2006 to 2013. He also attended Liceo scientifico Enrico Fermi High School from 2001 to 2006.
