Chris Guilmette has extensive military experience with the New York Army National Guard. He currently holds the position of Commander for the 153rd Troop Command (BDE), a role he has occupied since 2022. Prior to this, he served as Chief of Plans (G5) for the 42nd Infantry Division from 2017 to 2021 and as Battalion Commander from 2014 to 2021. His military background includes various leadership roles that have contributed to his strategic and operational expertise.
Educational Background
Chris Guilmette earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he studied from 1992 to 1996. He also holds a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College, which he completed in 2018. Additionally, he attended the US Army Command and General Staff College in 2013 and the US Army Engineer School in 1998.
Previous Professional Experience
Before his current role at STACK Infrastructure, Chris Guilmette held various engineering and leadership positions. He worked as a Senior Associate Electrical Engineer at Hewlett Packard Critical Facilities Services from 2004 to 2009 and as an Electrical Engineer at Bechtel Power Corporation from 1997 to 2000. He also served as Senior Director of Design and Construction at Iron Mountain from 2021 to 2023 and as Chief of Protection for the 42nd Infantry Rainbow Division Association Inc. from 2020 to 2021.
