About Alissa Cooperman, PhD

Through my research I seek to understand meetings at a granular level. What do meetings say about how we work? How can we identify effective meeting practices? My PhD research enables me to convert meetings into structured data which could be used to answer such questions. The continuation of my research will use this data and the analysis methods I have created to answer such questions and more. I hope to use my research to change how we meet for the better. Beyond my research, I seek to develop future researchers. I am achieving this by designing and teaching methodological, scientific communication, and other research relevant curriculum. I take pride in one to one advising of current PhD researchers.
